We are pleased to invite you to pro tempore.art's fourth take over Temporary Truth.
Temporary Truth is a performative experiment replacing regular emptiness with moments of artistic collaboration and new vibrations.
The exhibition is based upon the art of communicating art and the influential role of the museum guide. As well as a curatorial investigation of the options of display in a museum.
pro temp. takes over three empty plinths at Thorvaldsens Museum. The three plinths normally house the statues; Ganymede, Håbets Gudinde and Hyrdedrengen but will for one day display the works of 9 emerging artists:

pro temp. will introduce the new to the established, by exhibiting emerging artists at Thorvaldsens Museum and inviting the two performance artists Troels Ullerup and Piet Gitz-Johansen to reinterpret the role of the museum tour guide.
Temporary Truth runs over one single day, for 9 hours with 5 hours of performance.
Through the five hours of performance each artist will have 30 minutes on display at the three plinths. Afterwards the works will return to the collective expo in the main hall.
The collectibe expo will be visable from 12 to 21.
